On a perfect fall day this past October, Lindsey, Anton and I spent an afternoon frolicking through Central Park as we took their engagement photos. Having gotten engaged at a castle while on vacation, we knew Belvedere Castle would be the perfect spot for them to continue the theme. Lindsey even came prepared with a gorgeous yellow ballgown that was ever so romantic and dreamy.
Lindsey and Anton are a super chill and fun couple who wanted their engagement photos to reflect them in love and commemorate their youthful energy. They both adore New York City and wanted a bit of an artsy, ethereal dreamy feel to their photos, so we were lucky to come across some fun sunset lighting - which can be hard to pin down with all the trees in Central Park! After a quick stop at Belvedere Castle - it gets very crowded on a Saturday afternoon - we wandered our way through the lush tree-lined pathways to Shakespeare's Garden, stopping to admire the flowers, and then continuing downtown to Gapstow Bridge and the city streets.
I loved this session because it was a beautiful blend of conceptual creativity with documentary first-spontaneity that translates so well to the story of two people in love. Thank you you to Lindsay and Anton for being so willing to play and have fun and congratulations to you both!
