Remember Rachel and Parker's Dumbo engagement session? Well, they're married now! Yay!!
I always say the best part of my job is meeting great people, and these two are no exception. It is the highest honor to have return clients, especially as I get to see them through their life cycles of engagements to weddings and beyond, meeting family members and friends as we go along. It's like catching up with an old friend!
For their intimate Central Park wedding, Rachel and Parker gathered with close to twenty of their family and friends at Bethesda Terrace. As Rachel and her parents made a grand entrance down the steps of Bethesda towards her guests and groom, crowds parted and one of the musicians nearby played some music. Leave it to New York City to make a moment memorable and romantic!
With the Central Park Lake as the background for their ceremony, Rachel and Parker exchanged their vows and rings with their sweet pup was their ring bearer and exited down the 'aisle' with bubbles. Immediately following the ceremony we took photos around all the classic Central Park spots, from Bow Bridge to Wagner Cove, ending with hailing a yellow taxi to their private lunch at one of their favorite Greek restaurants, Symposium.
Always there to bring the fun and energy, they shared a beautiful first dance in the restaurant (if you recall, they are both incredible dancers!), as well as a Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dance. And of course, cake! After my work was done, I was honored to join them for the meal and chatted with their lovely friends. Congratulations, Rachel and Parker!!
